Arenal Volcano

Los Chiles, Costa Rica

We went to Los Chiles, which is in the north of Costa Rica on the border of Nicaragua, to visit my uncle Ahmed and my cousins Joan and Ian. This is a picture of little Ian who is 3 months younger than me :)

Here we are with uncle Ahmed and Ian.

We got to ride horses ... well I didn't ... but I got to touch the horsie! Here is mommy with cousin Beto and uncle Alejandro.

Daddy and uncle Fernando got to see a really, REALLY BIG tree!

Hot Springs

On our way to the hot springs, we stopped in Zarzero to look at the garden sculptures. A group of nuns passed by as we were taking pictures and so I said hello with a smile :) They fell in love with me right away! One of the nuns said that I would be a nun too one day..... umm... I don't think so.

Dad carried me as we walked to get to the hot springs ...

Meeting a Famous Olympic Swimmer

We went to a restaurant in San Jose and saw this tall lady eating there too. My daddy said she was a Costa Rican Olympic swimmer, Sylvia Poll. Look how tall she is! She was so nice and let us take a picture with her.

To Costa Ricaaaa!!

This was my first trip to Costa Rica and boy was it fun! Every day we had so much to do and see! Here I am with my grandpa Jim and auntie Abril (and of course daddy).

I met my cousins Ernestito and Sofia and their daddy Ernesto ... (I have a cousin with the same name as me! coooool :))

Here's my cousin Mariadelmar! She's so nice!

... and here I am meeting my GREAT grandparents!!! How many people can say that?!
