Underwater Adventures

We got to go on a COOL boat ride to a crater called Molokini for a wild snorkeling (and snuba) adventure!!! It took about an hour ride to get to the crater... I enjoyed the majestic views...


.. but mama felt like this by the time we reached there!!


Papa met a crew member that happened to also be from Costa Rica! He's been in Maui for the last 12 or 14 years!











Mama, Papa, and our friend Jeffrey decided to try Snuba! Brave souls... it was their first time! First they had to have a quick class to learn the basics.
Papa was a bit nervous :)
But after 5 minutes of being in the water, they got used to it and had a lot of fun!
They saw all kinds of cool creatures underwater...





On the way back... I stayed warm under a towel with my friend Thalia.
The wind nearly blew us away when we sat outside!

Papa and Mama had a titanic moment... (sigh)... what a fun trip!

My 5th Birthday: San Francisco

This year was special! I got a chance to have TWO birthday parties!!! FUN!! The first one in San Francisco was at my favorite pizza shop... I invited my friends and their parents and we had so much fun making and eating our own pizzas!

A while ago I watched Disney's Princess and the Frog movie.. and absolutely fell in love with it! I've seen it a gazillion times already.. so naturally that was the theme of my party! This is the cake mama made for me.
We had fun with the bubble wands and bubble swords I gave to my friends as party gifts!
(I helped mama make my Princess Tiana dress... ain't it purdy?!)
And we even had face painting! I painted the faces of two of my friends!
We were so lucky to have such wonderful friends come and celebrate with me!!!








My favorite part of course was when everyone sang happy birthday to me and I got to blow out my candle!!! I've been practicing that at home for months now!!! So much fun!
