Alcatraz!

We took a ferry ride to Alacatraz Island... they say bad men used to be locked up there, but not anymore. We had lots of fun looking around. My favorite part was the ride over there and back! It was my first time on a real boat!!!




We were confused at first why these signs were spray painted in some places... but then we learned that some time after the prison closed... native Americans went there and tried to claim it as their own. But unfortunately they were eventually kicked off that island too :-(

I got to listen to the tour too.... but I soon got bored...
... and so they locked me up too!
