The San Francisco Treat: Part 1

So we had to leave India for a short trip because of visa issues, so we came to San Francisco where dada's company has an office. We'll be here only briefly while we wait for some paperwork to be finished. In the meantime, we are taking advantage of this great opportunity to have chocolate milk at Starbucks... among other things ;-) I hear there's a big bridge with gold on it somewhere close... and a building on an island that used to hold bad people for a long time... but I was more excited to hear about the place where the sea lions like to come together and sleep and be lazy! That was the main attraction for me. Here are some photos of our first days after arriving in San Francisco.

We took a tour around the main areas of San Francisco and our driver was really funny and REALLY happy... made the tour a lot of fun!

San Francisco is REALLY HILLY and during our tour we went down this one big hill and on the sidewalk we saw this man in a wheelchair going fast (but carefully and expertly) down the hill alongside us!
At the end of the hill, he did a few spins and raised his hands in victory!!! We all laughed and cheered for him... what a feat!!
The tour ended at Fisherman's Wharf so we walked around and took a few pictures. That island in the background is Alcatraz!!

And then we saw the sea lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite part of the day!!!!
The next few days we did a lot more exploring... here is mama and me blowing a dandelion...
This was my ride :-D
Our first Starbucks in almost a year!!
